Shri Arvind Pathak
Shri Arvind Pathak is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Reliance Cement. He has been with the Reliance Group since 2008 and assumed office as Business head of Reliance Cement. Shri Pathak provides a spectrum of guidance on business divisions including strategic planning, operational execution, project development, sales, logistics, finance and HR.
In his illustrious career spanning three decades in the Cement sector, Shri Pathak has donned many roles successfully ranging from leading plant operations to project execution to logistics and debottlenecking in large capacity state-of-the-art cement projects/ plants, including Greenfield, Brownfield units.
He holds a B. Tech. (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Technology, Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management from NITIE.
Shri Atul Desai
Shri Atul Desai is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Reliance Cement. He joined the Company in 2013. He leads the marketing, logistics and sales operations, product management, partnership marketing, customer service and customer retention. As a part of the marketing operations, he also takes care of RCC’s media and industry relations, advertising, interactive programmes, communications as well as market and customer research.
Shri Desai brings with him a rich experience of 30 years. He started his career as a GET with GSFC and subsequently served to other leading companies including Star Cement and Ambuja Cement as Head of Operations & Marketing.
Shri Desai is a B.E. (Chemical) from Gujarat University and holds an MBA (Marketing) from South Gujarat University. He has also undergone a Senior Executive Programme at London Business School and Senior Leadership Programme at IMD Luccane- Switzerland.
Shri Bimal Roy
Shri Bimal Roy is Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources (HR) at Reliance Cement. Shri Roy joined the Reliance group in 2008 as Vice President - HR at Reliance Power Ltd. Subsequently, he moved within the group to Reliance Infrastructure Ltd.
Through his distinguished experience spanning 30 years of experience in reputed organisations across industry verticals, Shri Bimal Roy has gained in-depth knowledge in the areas of HRM/HRD, Strategy Planning and Organization Development Interventions.
Shri Bimal Roy holds a Masters degree in Social Work from MS University, Vadodara and a B.Sc. degree from Rajasthan University, Ajmer. He also holds a diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Sister Nivedita College, Kolkata.
Shri Darshan Lal
Shri Darshan Lal is primarily responsible for Profit and Loss Account and Operation costs of all the plants of RCC. He is also responsible for process optimisation, equipment upgradation, spares planning, improvement of plant efficiency and its overall monitoring and operational expenditure management. He drives improvements, bench-marking and standardisation and also handles the Preparation and Implementation of standard operating practices across plant.
Shri Lal comes with rich experience spanning over three decades with leading companies in the sector including Binani Cement, JK Cement, Modi Cement, Chittor Cement etc.
He holds a B. Tech (Chemical) from IIT, Roorkee. He is also a national scholarship holder and a member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Institution of Engineers. He has undergone several training and leadership programmes with FLS, Denmark and ASCI, Hyderabad
Dr. A. K. Singh
Dr. A K Singh is Vice President and Head of Corporate Environment, OHS & CSR at Reliance Cement.
A PhD in Bio Science with specialization in Environmental Pollution, Dr. A K Singh leads all environmental impact assessment studies at Reliance Cement.
His area of specialization include environment management, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Corporate Sustainability Reporting, CSR, CDM and voluntary initiatives like ISO-14001, OHSAS-18001, SA-8000.
Dr. A K Singh has over 27 years of diverse experience in research projects with reputed entities like Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd., Atlas Cycle Industries Ltd and the Central Pollution Control Board.
An author of repute, Dr. A K Singh has published environmental study and research papers in major publications and has submitted special research papers at industry seminars across the globe.
Shri Sudhir Kumar Das
Shri Sudhir Kumar Das is Vice President and Head of Mining & Geology at Reliance Cement. He has been with the company since 2011.
Shri Sudhir Kumar Das is responsible for development of plans for the construction of limestone mines and design the same based on geological surveys and maps. He also looks after location and development of shafts, tunnels, chambers, position of excavation benches (levels), and access roads. Apart from that he oversees the design of facility projects for mines, such as water and power supply ventilation system, Drainage, rail and conveyor systems material cleaning, grading, and reduction systems.
Prior to his stint at Reliance Cement, Shri Sudhir Das has worked with ACC and Hindustan Copper in his vast career spanning 39 years.
Shri Sudhir Kumar Das completed is a B.Tech. (Hons.) in Mining from Indian School Of Mines in 1977. He also possesses a First Class Mines Managers Certificate of Competency.
Dr. S. B. Hegde
Dr. S. B. Hegde is serving as a Vice President and Functional Head of Quality and Material Development in Reliance Cement Company Private Limited, Mumbai.
Dr. S. B. Hegde has obtained his PhD degree in Applied Geology from Karnatak University, Dharwad of Karnataka State. Before joining Reliance Cement, Dr. S. B. Hegde has worked in Lafarge Asia Sdn Bhd at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia taking care of quality and product development aspects of all Lafarge Asia Pacific plants. Before Lafarge Asia, he has worked in UltraTech Cement Limited and Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited.
Dr. Hegde, has published more than 58 research papers in National and International journals of high repute, namely, 'Cement and Concrete Research Journal', USA, 'Zement-Kalk-Gips', Germany, 'Interceram', Germany, 'World Cement', UK, 'Indian Cement Review', 'Indian Minerals', Journal of Geological Society of India. Also, presented and published papers in 'International Conference on Chemistry of Cement (ICC)' in South Africa and Canada and NCB's International Seminar on Cement and Building Materials (India).
Also, developed some new cementitious systems like alkali activated slag cement, magnesium phosphate cement for quick repair of concrete pavements, ternary blend by using limestone, slag and fly ash etc. Dr. Hegde is also a Member of Research Advisory Committee (RAC) of National Council for Cement and Building Materials, Ballabgarh, Haryana, India since July 2013.
Dr. Hari Dandi
Dr. H. R. Dandi is Head - Raw Material and Business Development at Reliance Cement. Dr. H. R. Dandi is responsible for development and execution of strategy for securing limestone and other corrective raw material required for manufacturing of cement. He handles everything from desk to exploration, identification, applications, mineral concession, resource evaluation, statutory requirements, liaison etc.
Dr. Dandi is a seasoned professional with an experience of 25 years in the areas of managing and developing mineral exploration, geotechnical Investigation, geo environmental investigations, mineral administration and mineral securing strategy. Prior to joining RCC he has worked with ACC, Government of Himachal Pradesh and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research.
Dr. Dandi has done PhD (Geology) from Center of Advance Studies in Geology, Punjab University. He also has to his credit a UGC-National Scholarship and CSIR fellowship.
Shri Santosh Tejwani
Shri Santosh Tejwani is Senior Vice President and project head for Maihar Plant (Line 1 & 2) at Reliance Cement He is with the company since 2008.
Shri Tejwani is responsible for project execution and commissioning of Cement Plant i.e. Maihar line 1 & 2 and grinding / blending units.
In his experience spanning over three decades in the industry, Shri Tejwani has been associated with key industry players such as Birla Corp – Satna Cement Works, SAIL, Gujarat Ambuja Cements and Prism Cements Ltd.
Shri Tejwani completed his B.E. from REC Bhopal in 1980 specialising in Mechanical Engineering.
Shri Arun Kumar Singh
Shri Arun Kumar Singh is Senior Vice President and Operations Head (Maharashtra) at Reliance Cement. He has been with the company since 2009.
Shri Singh is the Head for the group’s upcoming projects in Maharashtra which include the Integrated Cement Plant at Mukutban and the Grinding Unit at Butibori. He is responsible for the initial organisation set up, projects completion and ensuring smooth plant operations thereafter.
Shri Singh comes with a wide experience of 40 years during which he has worked with prestigious names including Ambuja Cements Ltd, M/s Parsram & Co and Indian Navy.
Shri Singh holds a Degree and Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Naval Institute in Valsura.
Shri Haribhanu Parihar
Shri Haribhanu Parihar is the Head Operations – Uttar Pradesh at Reliance Cement. He is looking after Operations of the Kundanganj Grinding Unit, and other upcoming projects in Uttar Pradesh.
Shri Parihar brings with him a rich experience of 30 years with expertise in strategic planning, scheduling, executing and spearheading numerous in house innovations and resource administration, with a flair for adopting modern methodologies in compliance with quality & statutory standards.
Prior to joining Reliance Cement, Shri Parihar served as a Unit Head with CK Birla Group Company. Shri Parihar has also been with reputed organisations like Rajashree Cement (An Aditya Birla group Co), Shree Digvijay Cement Company Ltd and Diamond Cement.
Shri Parihar is a B.Tech. Chemical Engineering from HBTI, Kanpur. He was a part of the IIM Ahmedabad, CK Birla Group Executive- Leadership Development Program in 2006. Shri Parihar has successfully completed QCX & Operation Training from FLS, DENMARK & ARL –SWITZERLAND besides other TPM , TQM and Other Management Development Programmes.
Shri Abhijit Dutta
Shri Abhijit Dutta is the Project Head of Butibori plant at Reliance Cement.
Shri Abhijit Dutta comes with a diverse experience of more than 21 years during which he has led Project management and Operations & Maintenance management of Cement Plants.
Prior to his stint at Reliance Cement, he has worked with ACC where he oversaw operations at various plant locations including Rajasthan, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Shri Abhijit Dutta completed his B.E. (Mechanical) from NIT , Silchar in 1991. He has also done a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) course from JIPM, Japan.
Shri Sunil Sachan
Shri Sunil Sachan has joined Reliance Cement as the Vice president and Plant Head, Maihar in July 2014.
A Mechanical Engineer by qualification, Shri Sachan has rich experience in the Cement Industry, in Consulting as well as Operations.
Before joining RCC, Shri Sachan worked with Lafarge Cement for nearly seven years, lately, he was heading their IU at Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. In his career span of 28 years, he was associated with organizations like Cement Corporation of India, Ultratech and Holtec.
